Had a good week-end, even though I only had one day off. Saturday I had to work because the boys had tickets to a in state college football game. Our two state teams, Marshall and WVU played each other and of course the guys had to go and so I ran the RV business while they sat in 90 degree heat. I also watched the game here at the store on a flat screen tv and an inside room tempature of 76!!! Their team won, mine lost, but all in all Marshall gave them a run for their money in the first half. During the game I did not have one customer and only two phone calls and soon as the game was over which was around 3:30 customers started showing up and the store closes at 4:00. Why is that? They know you close at 4:00 but you end up talking and the next thing you know it is 5:00PM> Ugh!
Anyway I mange to leave and get home around a little after 5:00 and the bowling alley where I bowl, was having an open house and free bowling so hubby, son & I went. Hey it was Free Bowling. LOL I have belong to a league for years and hubby joined this year since he retired. I hope he enjoys it, at least it will get him out of the house one evening a week. Since retirement he has not been very active and this I worry about. The weather has been so hot and like I said before he can’t take the heat. I thought I would never say this but come on Fall, he needs to move around more. I still have tons of honey do jobs for him to complete before winter.
Today is my oldest grandson’s birthday. He turns 18 today, I sent him a card with some cash and also an email to wish him a happy birthday. He is away at college, but hey I figure those kids will give him a better party than his Mom or I could. I hope she does not read this. Anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY WIL. GO ARMY.
Yesterday was a lazy day, laid around until noon, then oldest grand-daughter called and said she was coming over, she got her laundry done, I weeded the flower garden , cut a little grass and called it a day. Oh I did get my hair cut and yes colored. LOL Looks so much better. Had let the roots go way too far. Anyhoow now I am a honey red again. LOL Such vanity, but hey as long as I am in the public eye I will stay a honey red, knowing me I will go to the grave with honey red Clairol #29R. LOL I know my grandmother when she passed away at 94, no grey to be seen, she went as a Clairol medium ashe brown. Why break tradition.
Ok enough babbling, everyone have a great week . Talk to you soon………….
