Appreciation & Painting

Just wanted to post a quck blog to let you all know how much I appreciate all of you.  We share our lives together on here , be it happiness, sadness, sickness, I just love the fact we share and we are here for each other no matter what our plight might be.  Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you all so much.  I hope my comments never offend anyone , I care for you all very deeply.  I have been bless with happiness and good health and I  want all of that for you too.  Didn’t mean to ramble here just wanted you to know I care for each and everyone of you.
Now with that said, today I am with the help of my oldest daughter going to paint the kitchen and living room ceilings. They are 8 foot tall and this is going to be a challenge for me as I’m not the most graceful person on a ladder, but hopefully Sonya will keep me balanced!!!  I’ve gotten everything ready last night for this project, boy did I have a lot of stuff to move.  As most of you know I collect Longaberger Baskets and Lord I did not know how many I had until I had to dust them all off. Time to give some of them to the girls!!!  Hubby helped me get them down as most of them sit on the top of my cabinets in the kitchen.  I said to him thank you for your help but please don’t count them for you see he would want a gun for every basket I have!!!!  I so appreciated his help though.
He is so good to me, we have been together for 45 years at the end of this month, I have been with him more than my parents.  I met him when I was 15, married him when I was 16 and we have been there for each other ever since.  Now don’t get me wrong, we have had our moments, especially since we both were red heads, notice I said : "were"  his hair is white, but mine is still red, how did that happen???  Thank God for Miss Clariol # 29 R Honey Red. LOL  Now , I’ve gone and gotten side track, what I wanted to share with you, he took me shopping yesterday, found some end of the season buys and he took me to L*wes for all the supplies I need to paint the ceilings today, (God Love Him)  Where is he going to be today as I start this project?  For Fathers day, my son in law got him tickets to the air show in Dayton, Ohio and he just left with SIL .   I’m not mad, happy for him as he loves the military so and I know he loves airplanes.  He learned to fly several years ago and was just one test away from getting his pilots license when his Aunt and Uncle became ill and they had no children to care for them, he put everything on hold especially his flying to take care of them for the next 4 years.  Needless to say,  he had health problems that developed and  would not let him pass the physical part of it.  I felt so bad for him, but it was his decison to give up flying to do this for his family.  I do admire him so, sometimes I tell him you are too good.  As for me I’m glad he is on the ground.
The puppies are really growing and are about 98% house broken. !!! Yeah!!!!
My sweet Hayden is growing like a weed.  He is so funny at times especially when he hears music and breaks into dancing.  Everyday there is something new with him.  I don’t have him this weekend and I guess that is a good thing because no matter what I am into he has to be there and helping!!! One of us falling off the ladder is enough. Here is a picture of my great grandson as you can see he is growing. As you can see he loves music and yes we adapted our head phones and ipod to fit on his head. LOL
Ok I will end here and I hope you all are having a great weekend.  Wish me luck with that dang ladder.
As Ever

I appreciate you to Patsy!! I truly do..if not for some wonderful people like you I dont know where I would be today. What a task you are taking. Ceilings are the worst. Ours here are probably 10 or 11 feet in some places so I found an extended pole to put the roller on and NO MORE LADDERS! It works swell and saves so much time and my aching back! Love the picture he is growing like a weed and boy they grow fast. HAPPY EARLY ANNIVERSARY to you and Hubby the marriage you two have is truly remarkable in these days and times. Take care today.. : )

Dear Pat, Do be careful on the ladder and try not to get any paint in your hair. Smile! I too love flying and last spring met the Blue Angels Team when they were in Peoria for an air show. Here is the link!88D08C27CC0B32BD!10762.entryHave a great weekend andas ever be well

Hey, you be careful on that ladder! Glad you are doing this with a buddy! Great to hear Hubby is going to the airshow. I know how guys and airplanes are—my first hubby had his pilot\’s license and turned down an offer with an airlines (which he kicked himself later about). He was a musician first and foremost. Have fun with the paint and remember—no paint fights!!! Hayden has such innocence in that picture—what a cutie he is.

Let your daughter do the ladder, you use an extender pole. They are life savers! Sorry this comment is late, and you probably finished painting. Oye. I enjoy your friendship and I do appreciate you too. Your little Hayden is so precious! Give him a hugand a knuckles rub on the head.

Saw your comment in Rocket\’s blog asking for suggestions when you retire.Grab you an inexpensive book at the bookstore, Borders, Waldens, etc and get a few tips about taking photos..time of day, the best and the worst (worst is high noon for example) and take some great pictures thru the e=seasons and of the family. It gets to be such a fun habit to take that camera along. You don\’t need anything other than your point and like me. I am fixing to start painting again. I am starting (re-starting) with watercolors. Just a few thoughts.Love ya girl friend.

I appreciate my blog buddies too! I hope all your puppy children are doing well! My weimie just had surgery to remove some fatty tumors. She is SO pitiful! It makes me feel so bad. But she is healing okay.Hope you are having a wonderful weekend, my friend! Hugs to you!
