This blog was going to be about three things and then I got an email from an old space friend and she is having a hard time and I told her I would tell you about her plight. She is jennyd, she too is a Virginia gal and I know most of you were her friends. She wanted me to share with you what she has been going through. First of all she had pnemonia, a heart attack and the latest is her Mother is dying of cancer whom she just adores. She is having quite a hard time and if you could drop her a email at: jennyd412@verizon.com she would appreciate hearing from those of you who know her. She needs our support and prayers. Jenny is a wonderful person and when she was visitng our sites before all her problems she would so comment on each detail of your blog, She also told me she misses all of you and when her world gets normal again she will return. She spends about 23 hours a day with her mother only going home to check on her apartment. Keep our jennyd in your prayers.
The number one thing I wanted to tell you we got the car port up and the camper back under it without tearing it down!!! It only took John and I 45 minutes to put it back and only two cuss words!!! LOL. We have such a tight turn putting it into the drive way and backing it, it is a royal pain in the butt. Here are a couple of pictures of its construction and the camper under it with not a dent in the camper or the car port!!! As you can see we need to add more concrete as the car port is wider than the driveway, Another project for another day!!!
My second thing is I received this neat filter for my pond. It was a gift from my daughter Jennie who shops a lot of yard sales on the weekends. The exsiting filters I have I have to clean about every three to four days and this too is a royal pain in the butt. It filters 1400 gallons of water and it sets outside of the pond. It looks like a big terra cotta flower pot and you can plant flowers in the top of it and it also is running my water falls. These things sell for about 90.00 to $100.00 and she got it and an extra set of filters all for the grand total of $20.00. I installed it today with hubby’s help adjusting the fittings to work with my pump and here it is. Thanks to Jennie my filter cleaning days are few and far apart.
Ok, the third and final thing you have to read if you get this far. The puppies had their first professional grooming. Here are Miss Sadie and Hub.
Hub is the lighter face one, they would not hold still for a potrait shot and this is the best I could do. Hopefully when they are older I can get better shots of them. When we got back Benji just sniffed and sniffed, as if to say something is different about you guys, can’t put my nose on it!! LOL.
Thanks for stopping by and if you got this far, please don’t forget our jennyd. keep her in your prayers.
God Bless each and everyone of you
Hugs, Pat
